You're absolutely right! (REV.17:5)

Mostly "Mother of Harlots" means it has "daughters" that are following the church's beliefs. Many don't know that the Catholic Church has "casted all the true doctrines to the ground and replaced them with false ones(Dan.8:12).

For example:

CATHOLIC CHURCH--
Trinity, Going to heaven, Rapture, Jesus's Death Friday and Resurrection Sunday, Worship Sunday, Pagan Feast Days and etc.

SUNDAY CHURCHES--
Follow the same beliefs.

SDA(Seventh Day Adventists)--
Trinity, Going to Heaven, Pagan Feast Days, Jesus's Death Friday and Resurrection Sunday.

OTHER SABBATH CHURCHES--
One or more of the Catholic Doctrines.

JEHOVAH WITNESSES--
Jesus's Death Friday and Resurrection Sunday

I only know one church that isn't following the Catholic Church and that is The Living Church of God.(Eph.5:27; Acts 20:28)

It was the Roman Empire. The book was written during Nero's persecution of Christians. The Catholic Church is the original Church of Jesus Christ.

America! Read Revelations chapter 18 and compare it to these United States. She is a haunt for every lying demon, she is wealthy and flaunts it. She holds the world market and global economy in her hand She has been the #1 super power and flaunts it - like some cheap hooker from the barrio.

Other nations despise her and some want to burn her with fire (Nukes, Bombs, burn her to the ground) and on and on.

No other nation on the face of this earth fits that description. The real city of Babylon is not it because all that place is, is a tourist attraction, not even a viable city.

It represents the world and they way the world has become. You can sell anything these days, nothing is sacred to most people. The world has become like Babylon was- for the most part it is nonspiritual (don't take offense, those who are spiritual, I said for the most part), uncommitted to religion or unbelieving in spiritual things. They trust men of science and men of theology above God and Jesus. Every religion is fighting one against another as to the truthfulness of their church. People do things to other people that should make our skins crawl, but people over look it and say it's nothing. A lot of people have no morals, or concept of true morals.

People care more about what they get in life then what they give. We have no real concept of sacrifice or love for our neighbors. I think the US is more into that then most countries. We care more about money- how much we are making compared to the Jones', when we should be caring about what our kids are doing, or not doing.

Movies and TV have gotten to a point where almost anything goes and no one cares. We have all this information at our fingertips and we choose to use it to watch people kill others, swear, cheat, lie, fornicate. We have desensitized ourselves so much that nothing bothers us any more.

We have the internet, which in itself isn't a bad thing, but people use it for their own gratification, sexual predators use it to find innocent, unsuspecting kids to fulfill their sick, twisted pleasure. There's more porn sites on the net then almost anything else, and most of these are pay sites. People are spending all their money to see nude people in horrible sexual depictions.

People have turned away from God and His commandments. They think that their way is better then his and nothing they do will have any effect on their lives.

The government is corrupt and has used it's power to ends that are against what this country was founded on. People "rights" don't mean anything anymore, and we have taken the word and twisted it so that anything that happens to a group of people is going against their "rights".

The institution of marriage has come under fire and isn't seen for what it should be. People are having children out of wedlock and without fathers or stable family units. Men aren't taking responsibility for their actions and leave the woman to take care of his kids by themselves, usually without the means or family support they need.

If all of this doesn't point to us being whores of the world, then I don't know what does.

I'm no Biblical scholar, but the reference to the "great whore of Babylon" kind of makes me wonder if the Bible is referring to the US and its allies. After all, we're whoring out Iraq, which is the country now occupying the land where Babylon was once situated, to the oil and defense companies.

Now then: there is absolutely NO point to such a question other than an attempt to stir up trouble. YOU ought to be ashamed, but you haven't the grace to be. There's no excuse, there really isn't.
