Since only about 20-30% of the population uses tobacco, I'd say the average person smokes zero cigarettes a year.

I just did the math... I smoke about 11,000 cigarettes per year.. I don't know how average I am, I think they say the average smoker smokes one pack per day, which would equate to 7300 cigarettes per year... hope this is helpful

probably like 1500. that's at 4 a day though. and im not a smoker, so i dont know how often it actuallly takes place. at 6 a day it would be like 2190.
