I have a gorgeous black cat called Roxi. She is pregnant and she is due in the middle of July. I am very nervous about it as Roxi is my baby girl and I dont want to see her in pain. Could anyone give me some trips on what to do when my Roxi goes into labour. HELP iss what I need. Im more nervous than her I think.

This is my cats first litter and I have homes for them all as I have found 8 good homes for the kittens so Im not letting her have kittens and not taking care of them. She will be getting done after she has given birth about 8 weeks later. I love my cat so much and just wanted a little advise not people having a go at me for letting my cat get gregnant.

with my own experience i was really nervous when my cat was going to have babys to so I bought her a new bed to lay in and when she was in labour I put her in the bed in a dark place and shut the door and just left her there for about five hours(this is my cats first batch and she is only 9 months herself and everything went fine)and she had her four healthy kittens and we didn't even need to help so when you notice she is going in labour just put her in a dark place and she will do her thing. If there are emergencys just call a vet but most likely your baby girl will know what to do it is an instinct for cats.oh ya after they are born try to feed the mama cat kitten food it helps produce more milk and healthier milk for the kittens.God bless you,the little kittys, and your baby girl.No need to worry everything will go just fine and give all the little kittys hugs for me when they are born.Good luck!!

When she goes into labor, take her to the vet!! Thats the safest and most helpful thing you can do for her. They will make sure she is safe and comfortable, and they will be able to help immediately in case of emergency. And, do all homeless and shelter cats a favor and get mama spayed afterwards, and all her new kittens spayed and neutered when they're old enough.

I think letting her do it is part of her nature so just relax and also give her a corner place or under a sofa or somewhere in the backyard to let her do her business.

Love how all you people let your cats keep having litters. It does wonders for the cat overpopulation problem.
It is sad really.

As much as you want to, don't touch the kittens too much when they're born. In fact, touch them as little as possible...if you handle them too much they can die AND momma kitty might not take care of them anymore.
