I've had a huge crush on this guy forever and it so happens that he's a cop. How do you get a cop to go out with you? What do they look for in women? I don't know him very well and to be honest I'm not sure how to approach him...I'm never in the police station. Any suggestions?

Approach him like you would any other man. First, do it AWAY from his job, if possible. Nothing is more annoying than having someone come up to you while you are trying to resolve a situation. Second, make sure you are not asking him out BECAUSE he's a cop. "Blue Flames" are a dime a dozen and never last long. I've been a cop for almost ten years, dated a number of women in that time, and married the one that wasn't at all impressed I'm a cop. Overall, though, treat him like any other man you would ask out because that what he is.

How do you get a cop to go out with you? - The same way you get any guy to go out with you, you ask him/

What do they look for in women? - The question is so general it has no meaning. If you asked 100 cops what they look for in women, you would get 100 answers. If you asked 100 guys that are not cops, you would also get 100 answers. They would be as diverse and similar as the cops answers.

Cops are just people.

Show up at the station with bruises. The only thing cops like more than helping a women in trouble is beating them.

Love is a game (at least the romance part) and so--since he is your objective and you're the one with the crush it's your move until he gets the ball----trust me on this / I am very good at these things---you track him covertly until you get him in a secluded place (no one else nearby and definately when he isn't AT something) yoiu approach quite shyly---you very sheepishly say--Officer--I think you need to arrest me==he'll more than likely come back with somethng original like WHY ?? to which you respond with---I think what I've been thinking about you could be illegal----NOW HE HAS THE BALL--he'll probably be somewhat taken back for a moment--but I'LL bet the conversation won't lag but a moment until he is quizing you on the who what when and where of your address and phone number-----------------

first off it depends on how old u r & if u dont know that much about the guy then if u have his number then call him, this is an option 2 do this or not. If u dont know how 2 approach him like I said B4 just meet him N person, that is a better way 2 get 2 know that person. That is how I met my b/f N person & we have been 2 gether ever since!!!

Find out where the cops in town hang out. Then go there and see if he's there and talk to him.

Cops are men... do what you normally do to get their attention (legally!)!

Tell him that you like men in uniform.

Buy him a box of donuts. Cops love them. It is not just in the movies.

Make sure he's not married(you don't want to break up a family), then go to the station one day, and just say "hello"

Just smile at him, and flirt a little. They're just like any other guy.

Cops find it hard to stay with their significant others, and are looking for somebody understanding and stable.

well the best thing would be if you knew him out of uniform first. if you ask him out of uniform he would be more likely to say yes rather than in uniform. it just sort of helps with the ethical question of "is she asking me out because I am a cop and in uniform" sort of thing.
