Why do I care? Because I must defend my faith. Well,at least I thought I could until I started to read what other believers said and then I realized that some believers I disagree with. I know that my faith is really false crutch in some believer's mind. I don't have an excuse for behavior but I do know this that my faith is more stronger now then when I joined YA! In the word of God, we are commanded to reach out to those who are lost but my intentions on this site is to increase in knowledge from others and in my personal time. I no longer wish to rant or insult anyone therefore I have repented for lowering myself to stupidity of others questioners and answerers. I have stepped back and plan to answer questions and ask questions for the true benefits of learning.

Because I will never surrender to the Christian Militia. I'm confident that the Atheists and Agnostics (myself included) here were at one time Christians who questioned the Bible based on what we knew about the world and the universe.
I don't have a problem with God, or religion. It think its good for some people, but it should be a personal decision. I have a problem with people who twist it around for their own self-righteous agenda. I have a problem with people who feel it is their duty to "save" others. I have a problem with people who accept anything on blind faith alone. I have a problem with people who threaten eternal torture and suffering for anyone who doesn't agree with them.
I don't care what you believe as long as you're willing to questions those beliefs. If you question them and they hold up, more power to you.
Besides, someone needs to knock the High and Mighty off their high horses.

Your right, most of this is rants and insults. Your right, Christians are told to spread the good news. Your right, nothing I can say will change what you believe. But I believe God can work through me and through my words. At the very least I'm getting you thinking about it.

i think of that in step with creationist arguments to help your non secular ideals isn't basically undesirable for technological understanding, yet undesirable for faith. faith is approximately faith in transcendent issues--issues which would be authentic no count what information may well be chanced on sooner or later. technological understanding is greater mundane, in a fashion: it is approximately what's or isn't reality and what theories are or at the instant are not supported by utilising the information. whilst you're making your faith remember on the reality of specific information, you frequently run the possibility that for the time of the destiny, the information would be shown incorrect, and your faith would be disproven. faith is purely too significant to be discredited by utilising something so trivial as a reality. information can continually become incorrect later; non secular ideals could be everlasting.

I do it because there is something very satisfying about getting people riled up and watch them have NO ability to respond to it. The only argument I ever hear for religions is bible verses and saying God is my savior. It is like fist fighting a quadraplegic sometimes. I want people to think and wake up and question the world and make it better. Not make it worse. Plus, it is just funny to mess with the christians. They are so sensitive.

I believe in GOD. I come in hope that someone might be saved or encouraged if they are already a christian. Some people just need hope in the afterlife. And there is one.

we atheists are bored. besides, why do christians HAVE to go out and convert everyone? Why are they encouraged to do so? isn't that trying to rally people to their cause through lies and disbelief? keep tp yourselves. pretty evident not everyone wants to hear it, but still you persist. why? ignorant, deaf, retarded? NO MEANS NO.
