Yes and no. I try to follow good manners, I want to be polite and considerate, but to be honest, I wasn't taught good manners well when I was growing up so there's a lot of manners that I just don't know well enough or am not used to so I don't follow them automatically, sometimes I simply think of them too late. I learn new stuff about manners all the time (especially now that I'm in a foreign country where manners are a bit different) and I try to follow them, but it's hard to get used to some of them.

Yes, I think I do. I have to admit, my at home manners are not quite as good as the out in public manners. I guess I need to tweak the at home manners just a little..... :)

How dare someone dictate how we look?

I mean, people will let one arm dangle while eating, just to keep their elbows off...hence having a dining room full of people looking like they've had strokes!!! haha

It makes no difference, imo. Of course, I don't slouch, or anything...but the one armed stroke victim way of eating has never impressed me, nor has anyone seemed to care if the elbow occasionally touches the table, so past that, yes, I have great manners.

I personally believe that i do. I try and treat others with the utmost respect that i know how, and i try and make everyone have as good a day as possible. I have never been told otherwise, and, instead, i have been told that i am quite the gentleman.
