Atheists why don't you believe in God?

Wow. I'll choose to be amused at the stupidity of others instead of angered. Except for one thing - Romans is not the word of God, it's the word of Paul. Paul, saint though he may be, is not God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, or a prophet with a direct line from any of the preceding except the time he spent with Jesus. Jesus Christ did not hate anyone but Satan, and instructed his followers to love the sinner, but hate the sin. Hating homosexuals is as much of a sin as murdering your mother, isn't it, since carrying hatred in your heart is like committing the sin of murder? (*calm Jill, amused Jill*) Whoo. Ok.
Athiests choose not to believe in God because they are usually very analytical people who cannot, in good concience, believe in something for which they can see no proof. Christians, on the other hand, are usually brought up in environments that extoll the virtue of faith, leading them to never question their beliefs.
"All other religions are bad"? This seems exceedingly prejudicial and simplistic, even from a Christian.
The KJ version is a fantastic work of literature in every sense of that phrase, and is much less accurate then other, more recent translations.
There is a plethora more evidence for evolution than anything involving the existence of any supernatural being, from God to the Loch Ness Monster.
I'm not sure to what you are referring by the foxhole comment, and I love the nickname "Jim" for Dr. Charles Darwin.
You know that by asking a question like this, you will get a variety of angry responses as well affirmation from Christians, so why ask at all?

First off we are NOT to hate gay people. I LOVE gay people, which by the way is an oximoron (people are NOT born gay, it is a choice), on the other hand, I HATE the fact that they're gay. Homosexuality is a sin, so is abortion, adultery, fornication, doing drugs, and many others. It's no different, I HATE the fact that drug users do drugs, but I LOVE them as a person.

Actually I was raised a Christiand and then became an atheist because A) Too much of the Bible didn't add up B) Science filled in the gaps of logic with the Bible C) It's just so darn fun ;-)

Great question! The thing I don't get is that they claim to be Atheists but almost all of the questions they ask are in the religious section, and they are always answering questions in the religious section, hm, strange!

Woof! Crap, I never was good at the hypnotism thing. You did ask me to bark like a dog while I was under, right? Oh no, wait, you asked me to babble like a fundie... I'm sorry, I don't think that part of my brain that prevents me from doing that has died yet.
