Politics and religions seem to strive for the same goal, just some peace and quiet. HOW to do that is what make opinions differ. Do you feel sad that the discussions here is'nt in the spirit of the purpose, peace?

I would say that lots of people want peace and lots of religions want peace. And the mainstream religions of people all support a position of peace.

What happens that is "not peace" is when the "fringes" take action against the mainstreams.

I think most religious people want peace and then their are those who just want to spread their religion like some of the other posters. Every religion is almost like a replacement for government with a set of rules that the people should follow, this leads to a peaceful society.

The world strives after an outward peace, but he bible says it will never come. The only peace that is guaranteed is the inner peace that comes through salvation, and that is only found through acceptance of Jesus Christ as savior.

The goals of this world and the goals of the kingdom of God are not the same.

This worldwide runs on many levels, so.....basically thinking, it may make life extra pleasanter, if faith replace into a minimum of in keeping with comparable perception with ethical standards. no longer, my way, or your out-a-pay attention. it may help if each and every person have been conscious approximately understanding homicide is misguided, besides as theft, etc. yet in spite of this, temptation for evil won't end to exist, no matter what non secular perception that must be seen an "known faith For each and every person in the worldwide. " yet does not it truly is a wondrous concept. Politics, nicely this is the place "massive BROTHER" could announce himself. is vast Brother gazing out for us? i comprehend many people for my section that have faith he's, and for this reason supposedly there is not any longer a WW-III. I do think of there are going to be some massive alterations quickly, politically conversing. One occasion: Dr.'s interior the country would be subject to Social scientific prepare, for this reason much less money for them. finally, there are too many smart-men that decide to Rule the folk. Too undesirable! yet back it can be a gem theory if men ought to work out eye-to-eye for peace and prosperity for everybody.

Peace is nonsence period.
Before you jump into conclusion how bad i am i would like to see the solution. How would you be providing natural resources to humanity if there were no wars. War is kinda ( cruel) balancer for population. Every one will be in peace only till they reach the point of surplus of humanity. Then who is going to decide who lives and dies?
It may at first hard to realise but since we are soo primitive to go beyound the boundaries of this planet for now Peace is the war against humanity.
7 billion now and there were no wars we overpopulated this planet long time ago.

There are other ways of controlling the population like decieases and deaths. But i prefer die during the war quick and painless than go trough many stages of decieses.
Therefore GOD exists.

Jeremy O says "you can't have peace without Jesus Christ." Yet that's the purpose of the messiah. If Jesus was the messiah, we would know because there would be peace on earth. Why isn't that a challenge to Christians?????
Lead on -- we want peace on earth!
"...they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; national shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore." Micah 4:3

And what world are you now living?

All politics and religions want the same thing? Let me see; it seems that I have heard something about islmo-terrorists that only want 72 virgins for eternity and are willing to die for it.

Can't think of another political or religious system that can mathch that!

You have a good point. Most people only want to live their lives, raise their families, and live without war, violence and crime.

Unfortunately, there are still way too many people who want power and control over others. As long as some people think they are better or more entitled than others, there will always be problems. As long as people want what others have, there can be no lasting piece.

And until we can start seeing our similarities rather than our differences, we will be steeped in racism, fanaticism, and as many other "-isms" as you could shake a stick at.

I wish I could agree with you but it seems to me that what most people want isn't peace, but to be right, and for everyone to agree with their version of what is right. That's how they are trying to achieve their so-called peace.

They think that they will find peace when everyone agrees with their version of the world.

1Thess 5:3 " For when they say, Peace, and Safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." And if you mix politics and religion, you get the middle ages with the Catholic church in charge again. BLOOD, GUTS AND DEATH to all who do not agree with her.
