First, you must know your motherboard slots. If the color of the slots is white, its pci. if brown, its AGP. if black and long, its PCI-E. the best slot is Pci-e followed by agp then pci. If you want to buy best video cards, choose video card with slots of pci-e or agp. If you want to save your money, buy the affordable pci cards. Pci cards can't handle extreme graphics but they can play the game at the minimum resolution. After you buy a card. Disable or uninstall the driver of your old card using device manager. then unplug all the socket including monitors or any devices connected to your pc. then remove your old card and insert your new card in the motherboard. then boot your pc and install the cd that came with your card. then go to the site of your card to update its drivers. I recommend you to purchase Nvidia gefore 6 series because its affordable and can play games at the maximum detail. If you don't disable the driver of your old card, your new card won't work and can cause system problems.

It is very, very easy. You probably already have a video card there. Open up the case, being sure to unplug everything. The new card will go into the place of the old card. The card if you don't know, is where the cord from your monitor is connected. You will then need to install the software driver that comes with the card. Some manufacturers will have in their instructions to install the driver first, before installing the card...like ATI for example. Follow the booklet for what the proper order is. It is easy as changing a tire, and a lot less dirty. You'll do fine!

Stick the card in the slot.....OK...well anyways....
First, find out what type of slot you have available: PCI, AGP or PCI-Express. What are you currently using? Onboard video or an actual card installed into the system. In either case it is a piece of cake!
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO REMOVE THE PREVIOUS VIDEO DRIVERS FROM THE SYSTEM TO AVOID A CONFLICT <----did you get the importance of the last statement?
Once you remove the previous drivers from the add/remove programs you can shut down the computer and remove the old card, if you have onboard video you will need to go into the BIOS and disable it from there.
Next, physically install the new card into the appropriate slot and hook up the monitor. Now turn the computer on, it will recognize the new card..if it wants to install drivers just hit cancel. Insert the CD that came with the card and run the installation program...you might need to restart after the installation but other than that you are done!! Piece of cake!!
*******UPDATE********
These are your specs:

You have integrated video...so it will need to be disabled within the BIOS..not a big deal. You only have 3 available PCI slots for expansion so you will need to purchase a PCI video card NOT A PCI EXPRESS OR PCI-E card...this is what I would use, I used it in my son's budget computer and it works very well!!

some more recent BIOS platforms do no longer pick to be disabled. they'll without delay disable the onboard at the same time as they locate the hot card; (or there would properly be an decision to allow use of both with separate visual reveal unit units) study the MB medical docs once you've them or examine the producer's website. more recent OS's will then without delay come around the hot video card and take a look into to position in the drivers. some playing cards pick you to position in the drivers previously you position contained in the playing cards, so study the instructions.

Yes, there is a slot for one. All you need to do is make sure you get the right type and insert it in the slot and screw it down.
You should gave the driver with it, but you can go to their website and get an update if needed Generally Windows will pick it up!
