Perhaps the knowledge of my parrot and Staffie bull terrier and cat could be seen as a sign of neediness, or accepted as part of my love for all of God's creatures. What do you think?

Personally, I would be impressed by a guy that made room for those animals in his life -- it shows that he not only loves animals, but can make a serious commitment to them. Brownie points, big time. ;)
Most guys I've met may have a dog, or a cat, or maybe even a bird...but not all three. That's an animal lover, and I wouldn't consider it a complication at all.

Some women would not be to keen on have all those pets.
To a person who loves animals it would be fine.
I understand that pets take time and effort I would expect my prospective mate if he had pets to take time for his creatures and that would be fine with me. Some women would not be happy about having to take time to walk the dog or what ever. They would want more time to themselves than with the pets.
If you have all these pets look for an animal lover.

I, for one, before I was married, would specifically look for guys with pets and who treated them with affection. Mainly because I am incompatible with critter-haters, but also because it means the guy will have an easier time treating me and my critters nicely...
The guy I married has raised and shown two different breeds of dogs, had horses, ponies, parrots, lizards, snakes, squirrels, peacocks, and even a raccoon in his lifetime. That's the short list. Just my kind of guy!

Hey...well.. I love guys with pets..I think if you are very good to them, it make (me) girls feel like you'll take care and have a sweet heart..that is what i look for .. so that is a lot of points from a girl like me.. but .. it depends on what kinda girls you go out with...???

its a sign that you have a loving bone in your body, woman will like you more for it. if she hates animals then get rid of her
