Iv'e read one of her books, she is so inspirational. All these things she knows, It's amazing. I've never seen a psychic I didn't think was a fraud, I totally believe almost everything she says

Sylvia Browne (born Sylvia Celeste Shoemaker on October 19, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri) is an alleged psychic and medium, and author of numerous books on spirituality. In 1992 she was convicted of investment fraud [1].
She has had a long running feud with skeptic James Randi who claims her readings are indistinguishable from those achieved by mentalists using cold reading and hot reading techniques. Randi has offered to test her abilities in a controlled environment, but Browne has failed to perform the tests.
She is the regular featured guest on The Montel Williams Show every Wednesday.

I have read much of her work and I also feel that she is for real.
She is on the Montel Williams show almost every Wednesday. Some days her answers are pretty vague but others they seem to be right on target. I saw her in person in Toronto in April and she has a very powerful presence. I think she's great!
However, having said that, I still wouldn't pay $750 USD for a telephone reading from her!! :)

Go to your local library & check out more of her books if they interest you.
John Edward (not Edwards...he took his middle name as his last name & there is no 's') is another, he also has several books. His approach is completely different , he gets very specific & only asks for a yes or a no as a validation typically. He believes in God and has acknowledge this is where his gift comes from. He also believes we all have the capability to do this

I don't know her personally, but I have all of her books. I think she is good, but sometimes I think some of her stuff is not really believable. She seems to have a heads up, more than most of us. I like her and watch her on Montel every Wednesday. I prefer John Edwards and John Anderson. I just like their style better, sometimes Sylvia is alittle to gruff for my taste.

Sylvia Browne is good as a Psychic and a Psychic alone.

She is no psychic. She is what is known as a Cold Reader. The same method used by John Edward to deceive. To get an honest view of these two you should check out this link--too much to paste here.

she is a kook, who gets money out of gullible people. Look up skepticism. They uncover the truth about so called psychics. Did she predict 9/11? if she knew, why didnt see tell people? Its a joke...please believe me, its a scam thats been going on sense time began.

I just know she is on Montel alot. I think she is a fraud and everything she says to people is so general then when she is failing, Montel jumps in to save her.
