Should u be good friends with someone first before yall try to date? Is being friends first at all important to have a good lasting relationship

I believe that being friends first may or may not work out. Because if you two were before you started dating but then you break up, then it will be wierd after that. I think you should know the person before dating, not so much be friends, but know enough that you aren't nervous or scared to be around him/her. I can say from experience that I knew my present bf for a month before we started dating and we are very happy and very in love right now. So like I said i deponds upon how long of a friendship you might have with the person.... good luck!!

My boyfriend that I am with now was not my friend at first. he was my bestfriends boyfriend. we just started going out. we hvae known each other for three years. We have been on and off. I think that you should try to be friends fisrt. But if you both really like each other, that isn't going to last.
