I got a haircut last week and am not happy with it. I have another appointment with my hairdresser today for an adjustment cut. Should I tip her for this cut too? how much?I will not be charged since it's an ajustment cut.

Why would you tip someone for doing a job that they are getting paid for. You asked for a certain hairstyle. You can't take your head back and get a refund, so why would you even pay for the next hair "adjustment" much less a tip!
She should just want you pleased with the cut.

If your her regular, then you genially tip her for the adjustment cut. Hopefully next time it'll come out better. (If your not her regular then the percentage you would tip her is consequentially void, as you are not paying for the haircut

As a stylist, I would expect not to receive a tip. If you tried to tip me I would not accept it especially if it was a mistake on my part. If you and your stylist were trying something new and it just didn't work like you expected, you could offer something, however do not be offended or surprised if they do not take it.

No, and she/he will understand. You've already paid and tipped him/ her for a service, that was not properly done. How long has he/she been your hair designer, and are you sure that you want to trust him/her again? IT CAN ONLY GET SHORTER AT THIS POINT. good luck!

I wouldn't, if she already messed up the cut I don't see why you should have to tip her again.

since you wont be charged, she wont get paid. BUT since she messed up your hair in the first place, I say tip her like one or two dollars.

Yes. A tip is for good service. But, if she is fixing it for free you can give her a small tip. $2.00 max.

Always tip! If you don't she will remember next time. If you were planning to go to someone different anyway, go to her, let her fix it, don't tip her, and then find someone else next time.

I wouldn't...she cut it the first time and you tipped her and didn't like what she did...

i'd say no since if she'd done it right the first time you wouldn't have to make the trip back again!
