I think everyone should have an age attached to
their screen name, I wouldn't want to say something
improper to a child

Knowing someone’s age is important to understand where he or she is in life, education, and because of the law. You don't want to hang out with someone to young because you don't want to get in trouble.

no, its not rude becuase you have a right to know who you are talking to because it gives you an idea of where they are coming from and what they are thinking
