No we are not a stranger to torture. See my Question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ak_RWnwwsBQImaQGNAEn0sTsy6IX?qid=20060619014726AAgWvUe
People of Color, Women, LGBT, and other so called minorities experience torture in the USA everyday. Not all of us have/or think to have the ability to affect what Bush and other Desicion Making "Officials" do or pass or commit.
I know it's not an excuss but some ppl can only do so much.

Please! Noam Chomsky? Outside of linguistics that guy is ignorant and clueless and a hopeless ultra-leftist liar.
First, terrorists, insurgents, taliban, etc are not protected by the Geneva Conventions. They are illegal combatants. They fight without distinct identification, etc. By the Geneva Conventions, they could have been summarily executed.
You people are too funny, Dowdifying what was actually said to make it seem it said something else. Creating 'facts' from whole fabric to support your conclusions. Sad. Sad. Sad.
