aww shucks,
don't worry about it.
the trip is soo long that you'll probably be out of puke at about the 4th or 5th hour of the car ride. Then you'll probably pass out. but when you wake up, the trip we'll be over and you'll be in sunny florida...during hurricane season.
see, everythings looking up.

Take your non drowsy Dramamine and try to sit in the front. Do not read in the car or try to read a map while the car is moving. Do Not turn around to talk to anyone in the back seat. If you're the driver, you probably won't even get motion sickness. If you sit in the back, do not look out the side window as the scenery whizzing by will cause sickness. Look out of the windows in a forward position. If you start to feel a little sick, crack a window open, the fresh air helps. I have had motion sickness all my life and this is what works best for me. I rode in a car for 12 hours (never 18) and did not get sick once. Good luck.

I too get really motion sick especially on car trips. I would suggest using ginger pills. You can get them at most any drug store. They help with motions sickness and are natural so if you don't feel like they are working you can always pop a Dramamine and still be safe. Good Luck.
