If this guy has any feelings for you, you should know it by now. Never be afraid of rejection. We all learn from it. Be bold, tell him how you feel. If he does not feel the same way, you know and you can get on with your life.

You don't love him, you are infactuated and this is how you know...when and if you get into a relationship you will find yourself not exalting him the way that you do now. I am a person that does not like to reject others because I don't like others. That said...I don't really think you should stand in the shadows and wait for fate. If he is a nice guy and you think that you can trust that he will keep your confidence, tell him how you feel. The worse thing he can say is not--but at least you will have an answer. But if you think that he would use it against you then I think you should consider redirecting your affections elsewhere. Oh, and if he is involved, you most certainly should be looking somewhere.

I'm a chicken *** myself, and I've never made the first move. Me and my boyfriend were "friends" for over 2 years before he got the balls to ask me out. (he was just as chicken than me)
Like one of the previous answers, tell him how you feel, what's the worst thing that could happen, he says no, ok he doesn't like you, move on to the next guy. You don't love him if you don't know him very well, you just love the idea of him...that is much easier than if he were your very best friend.

It's OK to be shy, but don't let fear stop you from doing what you want to do. Remember, you won't know what would have happened unless you attempt to pursue what it is you would like to pursue. You won't know the outcome unless you take the chance. However, remember there outcome may or may not be what you want, but that is the chance you take when you make yourself vulnerable to someone. Good luck and I'll be thinking about you for a positive outcome.

Well you shouldn't be shy, the worse that could happen is he say no, but at least you tried. Take a chance because it is better to try and know the outcome then always wonder what he would have said.

No one likes being rejected but if u don't take the chance you'll always wonder what could've been. Take the chance and if he doesn't like u you can move on and not continue to harbor those feelings.

You just have to get over the fear of rejection. If he says no...his loss. Don't be afraid to go after what you want!

Rejection is a part of life, but we all survive it. Look at this way: you don't have him now, so if you try and it doesn't work, you're no worse off. Take a chance.
