I don't know about you but I still get the urge to climb up high and throw a little sh!t. Without trees that wouldn't be as fun.

This is a common misconception. People didn't evolve from monkeys they had a common ancestor. "Why are there still trees?". I don't think this really needs an answer.

Because there are still monkeys.
Funny thing about trees...they kind of help keep the air clean. Except where I am, smogs a killer!

Why don't people take better care of trees, if they came from monkeys? It only makes sense.

because trees exhale oxygen, which we breathe in, and we exhale carbon dioxide, which trees and plants breathe in.
Plus- people do still climb trees. Especially kids. We're just smart enough to know not to swing from them.
