By the way, I feel like I am always being lied to by Bush and authorities in genral. I've just gotten use to it, so instead I try to figure out why they belive in what they believe or in alot of cases I try to figure out why some humans seem to be so easly manipluated by any little thing. Like misinformation.

... here is my main response:

“The president won backing for the demand that North Korea abandon plans to test-fire a long-range missile. "It should make people nervous when non-transparent regimes that have announced that they've got nuclear warheads fire missiles," he said.”

Hmmm, as I recalled we (the USA) have the most destructive weapons (of mass destruction) in the world and we have the majority of them, so who is policing us? The USA has misused their weapons countless of times and conducted biological warfare/experiments countless of times too (read your history books).

“Schuessel welcomed Bush's statement. "We got clear, clear signals and a commitment from the American side — no torture, no extraordinary or extraterritorial positions to deal with the terrorists," he said. "All the legal rights must be preserved."”

Hmmm this too can be argued that only a few months ago I heard about yet another abuse of the prisoners (isn’t this why they’re finally contemplating on shutting down the Gawtanomo Bay base? … can’t spell LOL)

“Again, Bush asked Europeans to look beyond their anger over the U.S. invasion of Iraq three years ago and support the country's reconstruction.”

Why should the European nations (or anyone else for that matter) turn a blind eye of past injustices?

“…but the split between the U.S. and Europe is rising, and the Bush administration looks increasingly desperate.”

Yes, they DO. I’m surprised some republicans who are devoted to Bush don’t see past the façade.

“The Bush administration's decision to participate in talks with Iran is a direct result of its failure to win even a modicum of international support for its military and economic threats, as well as a rising chorus of influential military, retired diplomats, and other elite voices within U.S. policy circles.”

Hey because ignorance doesn’t blind people forever, that’s why.
Also, from this statement right here is REALLY sounds like he doesn’t have very much support at all, unlike what FOX news would have you believe.

“While international governmental pressure on Iran continues, there remains a significant split between the non-proliferation focus of Europe (willing to consider sanctions) and to a lesser degree Russia and China (preferring enticements), and the ideologically-driven "regime-change" approach of the U.S. (favoring regime change, including military attack). So far the Bush administration has failed to win broader support even for an anti-Iranian "coalition," let alone a unified Security Council resolution, but this White House has shown its willingness before to move recklessly and unilaterally despite global opposition. So there is no room for complacency or assumptions that an attack on Iran won't happen because the military is against it or because it is so obviously dangerous.”

Why is it that the USA’s government officials have to think with their muscles, and big metal toys? Have they learned nothing?

“The new report just issued by Hans Blix and his Sweden-based international commission concludes that disarmament was being set back by "increased U.S. skepticism regarding the effectiveness of international institutions and instruments, coupled with a drive for freedom of action to maintain an absolute global superiority in weaponry and means of their delivery. The U.S., the sole superpower, has looked more to its own military power." The report called on nuclear powers to reduce their nuclear arsenals, and said nuclear weapons should be banned altogether. "Weapons of mass destruction cannot be uninvented," the report said, "but they can be outlawed, as biological and chemical weapons already have been, and their use made unthinkable."”

YES, the USA has looked to its military too many times to solve problems outside of this (USA) country! I believe the USA is worried about another Cold War since they want to disarm EVERYONE in the world except the very USA government its self. That’s disturbing. Come on people, there is terrorists here too so what makes the Iranians or anyone else for that matter worse? Is it because they are foreign to us and have an ethnic look to them? I’m not just talking about our own government being terrorists, I am also talking about people like those crazy white racist groups that try to bomb people here in the USA too. Not to mention it seems the USA’s public didn’t realize the terrorists in their own government, even when they were caught red handed. Didn’t yall here about the child pornography ring, and child molesters/enslavers that held public political offices even as high up as in the Bush administration? The FBI did a BIG sting operation and caught a lot of government high up officials red handed, why do you think Bush had to replace SO many people in his administration all of a sudden. A boy testified before a court also to get them in trouble, and they have cervalence footage of the undercover stings they conducted. Our government truly has a lot of sick- o-‘s in it.

“EUROPEAN JOURNALIST: “President Bush, you've got Iran's nuclear program, you've got North Korea, yet most Europeans consider the United States the biggest threat to global stability. Do you have any regrets about that?”
THE DECIDER: “That's absurd. We'll defend ourselves, but at the same times we're actively working with our partners to spread peace and democracy. So whoever says that is -- it's an absurd statement.”

Why does that sound like another version (a re-mastered modern version LOL get it movie talk) of The Crusades (but instead focus on ideology then religion, which can actually be said to go hand and hand and come from the same idea: belief)? We’re not even spreading REAL Democracy, we are spreading OUR form and ONLY OUR form of Democracy and what WE think/perceive as peace. Personally we have a representative democracy which to me is not TRUE democracy, I think democracy is FULL democracy of ALL the people.
Peace and Liberation can only be achived by the people who want and need it, only the oppressed can truely FREE themselves. No one else can do it for them, it would be fake peace and fake freedom and may go down hill after awhile becuase nothing was achived or learned by the group that needed to LEAD themselves in the first place.

“Dubya has an intriguing way of referring to the broad majority of the European citizenry: “whoever.””

He has a broad way of referring to ANYTHING LOL.

For the record I consider Yahoo mainstream media, and I think ZNet is not really that mainstream… ;- )
I trust non-mainstream media’s more then the main stream, due to the censorship that is going on right now in USA and USA reporters being threatened to comply.

In short YES, I still think they are lying to us ALL (they’ve been doing it for a while so they should of gotten better at it LOL).

::: Peace :::

Do I feel I am lied to again? Yes, but that does not mean that I am not going to support him. Right or wrong he is doing what he thinks is best for the people of the USA. Some people would believe that he has used the military to much in the global war against Islam but I feel has not used it enough. We are fighting a war with one arm tied behind our backs because we are following the rules of engagement against an enemy that is not abiding by the same rules. So if he lies to make people think that he is trying to solve it diplomatically, while the USA Air Force is simulating air strikes against bunkered facilities in the Nevada dessert then fine by me.

Quick on come backs are you? Too bad you do not read your own back up information. First one is taking about the Iran and NK nuclear threats and the EU leadership support and you turned that around to say that is wrong because of poll date from EU citizens. Leaders lead there country and polls do nothing. You can not run a country by the what the latest wacko poll says.

But most of all - WHO CARES WHAT THE EU CITIZENS THINK? If you care - go join them. We do not care what you think - although I would defend your right to say it. I doubt you would do the same.

Another rabid liberal foaming at the mouth. When are you going to stop blaming the whole world's problems on Bush? Maybe it's his fault that you are like this. Yeah, he didn't comply with the Kyoto treaty and now there's not enough oxygen left in the air, so your brains are being starved of oxygen.
Yup... it's Bush's fault.
