If you are looking for a purebred Ragdoll kitten, first of all let me say congratulations! These little kitties are a bundle of joy. They are so loving. My little one follows me around like my shadow. And they enjoy being held, preferably like a baby! I believe a reasonable price is about $550 - $650 for a pet quality kitten. Show quality kittens cost much more. For a specific price, look at the breeder's website you plan to buy one from. Some breeders from many areas are listed on this site:

However, adopting also is an option in which you wont pay near as much. If it is a Ragdoll you are looking for though, it may be very hard to find a purebred. I am of the opinion that nobody would every disown their Ragdoll's anyways as they are so adorable. But then again, that's me. You could call your local pet shelters and see if they have any Ragdolls.

Best of luck!

Here is some Ragdoll information:

Also, I'm curious as of what color you are interested in. My kitty is a flame point.

It depends on the breeder and they type of ragdoll. I have a seal mitted one and she cost $1000 (I got her for free free and the previous owner paid that paid that much for her). The lilac ragdolls are going to be more because they are more rare. I would say that a reputable breeder would charge anywhere from $700 -$1200. Before you buy one, be sure to get references.

It all depends on the breeder..And what you want it for...When i was looking for a hairless cat I emailed breeders and asked if they had any special needs ones that they would sell for less. I got my hairless cat for $150. When they are normally $1000. And the only thing wrong with him is his eye waters. They can't sell them for full price because most people want them for showing or breeding.
