Yes it can. Being in a pressurized area for a prolonged period of time causes it. I have a girlfriend who is a stewardess, she talks about it, and drinking anything carbonated does it to while on the plane.

Jetlag is the effect on the body and mind of crossing time zones. Jetlag doesn't cause bloating, but the flight itself can cause you to retain water.

No jetlag is the psychological effect caused by crossing time zones in which people find it difficult to adjust to it not being the time it should be (so they sleep at the wrong time, etc).

There is no way it can cause bloating.

Maybe you ate too much, maybe the plane food gave you a stomach upset, maybe you're just fat.

Sure it can. Loss of sleep, a new time zone and flying can all result in indigestion.
