It's Adam and Yves, not Adam and Eve.
(Wouldn't that blow some people's minds about gay marriage?)

WHAT??!!?? That question doesn't make much sense? You mean why are there people named Adam & Eve? I hope that is not what you're asking because that would be a silly question. Why is there more than one "Mike" or "David" in the world?
While on the subject; we didn't come from Adam and Eve. That is yet another rediculous Bible story that has no possibility of being true. If we all came from just Adam and Eve how would you explain all the different races (Chinese, African, Mexican, Indian, etc). Two people could not have created all those different races. Those races developed over time through evolution from different gene pools on different continents.
So considering all that; your question (even if it made sense) becomes pointless.
And to answer the question about their having two sons... One of the sons (or both) would of had to of had sex with his mother (Eve). Although that's a funny detail that Christains don't particularly like the real truth is the story is completely false and none of it happened to begin with.

I think a better question is, if God made Adam and Eve, why do so many people think he made Adam and Steve? The true couple is a man and a woman, and nothing else!

God never said that the two particular names Adam and Eve were something to never name your children so there are still names. Heck, some children dont even know the story exists!!!!

Adam and Eve is a myth. The first thing in The Bible that is not a myth is the story about Abraham and Sarah.

The same reason there are people named Mary, Joseph, Noah... etc. You know... people have babies... then they pick out names. Apparently, there are people who like the names Adam and Eve, so they name their kids that.

Becuz we're the same "kind". Adam and Eve reproduced after their own kind, just like the other kinds do.
