One that is totally unreliable, and breaks down constantly.
That way, you can combine the payments for the car, with towing fees, and repair costs - you could really wrap up a lot of cash that way.
Above all, don't sell it. You need to keep pumping cash into it - maybe a 1980's GM sedan, with a vinyl top. Like Uncle Buck.
Above all, never let the mechanics do the complete job - or else all will be lost, and the damn thing will be reliable again.
Go to the worst part of town, to a used car lot, and let the salesman tell you what to buy. Be sure to show him all your money up front - especially if you have a lot of cash.
You can't lose.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 for a new car costs around $1.2 million
Top 3 most expensive cars ever sold:
1. 1954 Mercedes W 196 - $24 million
2. 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO - $16.6 million
3. 1931 Type 41 Bugatti Royale - $8.7 million
As for the $17 million Type 41, that is what is is reportedly ESTIMATED to be worth. A car's estimated value can't truly be tested until the car is sold. For instance I could estimate my Toyota Corolla to be worth $50,000, but do you think anybody would actually ever pay that price for it?

McLaren's have traditionally been expensive (some in the million dollar range).
Limited edition Ferrari's can also run you more than $400,000.
My favorite exotic car though is the 2007 Bentley Continental GTC. Relatively cheap too at only $160,000.

Bugatti Type 41 Royale.
$10 million dollars.
1930s.
There were only 6 made, 2 are still not sold.
Some were even sold for $17 million dollars.
Now this, takes the cake.
