An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty. He asks one of his new students to stand and.....
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.
Prof: Is God good?
Student: Sure.
Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student: Yes.
Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?
Student is silent.
Prof: You can't answer, can you?
Let's start again, young fellow. Is God good?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Is Satan good?
Student: No.
Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student : From...God...
Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student: Yes.
Prof: So who created evil?
Student does not answer.
Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student: Yes, sir.
Prof: So, who created them?
Student has no answer.
Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student: No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.
Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof: Yes Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Now the student said can I ask something to you Professor.
Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.
Student: And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.
Student: No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)
Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it. (There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)
Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student: You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something.
You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light... But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)
Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?
(The class is in uproar.)
Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)
Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)
Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.
Student: That is it sir... The link between man & god is FAITH. That is all that keeps things moving & alive. .
WANT TO KNOW WHO THAT STUDENT WAS? This is a true story, and the student was none other than
DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, President of India.

You are the proof that God exists. you are unique. If we are here by chance, then being unique would run out eventually. Creation itself proves He's real, look around you. Hold a tiny baby in your arms. Look at the trees, look at the animals. Open your eyes. Read Romans Chapter 1.
Whatever you say will never be enough for some people. I'm a misionary here in England. I know how hard it is to evangelise, people need more than proof, they need faith. They need to let go of doubt and trust in God whom they can't see. All the best and may the Lord go with you.

Holy Mother Mata Amritanandamayi is the main reason God exists. Known as "Amma". Just even watching her give Pure Love to every person that comes to her is enough proof for me.
But I've had other Divine experiences before that several times. It was just God's way of communicating to me and letting me know that I am never alone and always protected and watched over.
I came from a Christian family growing up. After studying spirituality and religion for about 15 years as I loved learning about it. I recently fell in love with Hinduism and am studying it. I find that religion best suited for my needs and path.

There are many. I personally try to forget them and rely on faith. Take the story of the doubting Thomas for instance. Let the Bible speak for itself. It is God's Word. There is no need to convince people that God exists. He could just pop out from heaven and reveal himself to the world and do that himself. Just present the Gospel to someone. The Bible said nature and all its magnificence should be proof alone that God exists. I will pray for you and the people you try to share the gospel with Have a nice day! =)

I think the main proof that something greater than us exists is that we all believe it and that it had to start somewhere
I can't tell you if the bible or other religions are right or wrong.. all I can say is that I dont believe we got to this point by chance.. what was the first particle? where did it come from? Something was here first and that something is what we should call God.. if he has a plan or not.. I leave it to Him

Are you lot for real, god exists in your head alone. When you die you go into a box and rot down - THAT'S IT. Religion is a way that those who are left behind and are not strong enough to cope can escape and convince themselves their loved ones are somewhere better, it is nothing more than a means of control - if you live your life in a certain way god will reward you in heaven, and if there is no heaven who exactly will you complain to?
Stop worrying about god and just live life for what it is.

There is no proof, that is why it is called "faith." However, what's generally put forth as a sort of "psuedo-proof" is the Bible. Proof is something that undeniably proves something to me, and The Bible doesn't quite fit that bill, since you can easily say "it was written by men, why should they be right about this when they thought the world was flat?"

You cannot prove to anyone whether God exists because this requires Faith and deep sincere understanding.
You can begin by reasoning that all we see around us cannot have come about by chance. If evolution was possible then we should be able to see humans still evolving (maybe extra or highly developed senses/organs) better still, we should still see humans evolving from monekys!

There is so much proof of God that it seems incredulous that the scientific community still has there cranium place firmly in there anal canal about Gods existence. Maybe they would have to answer to someone if they acknowledged Gods existence.
There is a myriad of web sources to help you in quest to have answers in you evangelization quest, happy harvesting :)

I have ask my self the same question. the messengers of God ( Allah) had never argue about God existence but they only argue about the rebirth after-death. ppl all believe that there is a God even Pharaoh although he said I am the God but when he about to die he regerts .He believes that God exists but he denys it. All ppl believe on God no argue about this but they only deny it.
If you ask a child of 6 year old where is Allah ? he will say he is on the sky.when God creates Adam he made us witness his existence . Allah asks us to take a look of ourselves and he swears that he is able to creat our thumbs and this is amazing nowadays since everybody has his own thumb which is totally different from the others. Allah asks us to witness how he builds the sky without pillars. Allah wants us to witness his creations carefully without any prejudice to know the truth of his existence.I hear a story of a teacher denyied God existence and he say " everything we don`t see we don`t believe that exists" one of his students say " so you don`t have a brain since we don`t see it". this mean that we might don`t see Allah but we witness his creations which is the only proof to his existence.
