What's best for nits? They'll grow strong and healthy on a high protein diet. I suggest leaving them some milk and bread crumbs on the side of your pillow before you go to sleep.

The problem is the more times you use chemicals the less effective they become it was showed on TV that nits are becoming amune. I treat them without chemicals and also prevent them my boys dont have them now ta all. First you have to get rid do this by wetting there hair and putting conditioner on use a nit comb and get them out and the eggs. You do this every night and it will take a couple of days but it works. Then to prevent what i do is make up a mixture. I get a spray bottle fill it with hot water and add two spoons of winger this repels them dont use to much it may sting otherwise and i put in two spoon of lavender oils for the smell and then every moring spray the heads. So far so nits.

I never use that stuff
wash hair and rinse
put tea trea conditioner in hair and comb through very thoroughly with a nit comb. The conditioner makes the hair slippery so the eggs come off more easily.
Rinse out conditioner
Repeat for several days

a nit comb is basically the only way you can guarantee getting rid of nits. You use them every three days on wet hair with conditioner in.

Just use a nit comb with conditioner . They get immune to the lotions and potions, conditioner prevents them from attaching there legs, they cement themsleves to the hair and cannot do it cos its too slippery, like trying to climb up a greasy pole. use conditioner in abundance and do it every day unti lthey are gone and then once a week for prevention. its the BEST treatment and harmless, comb the conditioner through with the nit comb BEFORE you wash it out and then after rinsing for good measure

Yes its good, but if you keep using the same product they become immune to it.You have to check your head every day.Anything with tea tree oil,or tea tree properties in it.They cant stand the stench,it makes them docile and easier to catch.Use masses of conditioner and go through the head. They should slide out.A white nit comb is best for showing up the little blighters.Or do what they do in South Africa-shave their heads.

I hate to say this the best way is combing or shave your hair . the other products don't really work or are expensive or the nits have an immunity to it.
