Good:
I designed a device which has premovement acceleration, can continue to add its top speed to its current speed, very simple design, runs on eletricity, no external part.

Bad:
The olny problam is there is currently no way to stop, olny works well in zero resistantce envirment, instant speed addition is not good for people. Every prototype i build eventually rips its self apart. (the design bacily causes it to ram into its self acusing instant inertal force from the inside.)

that's sweet here i think is a link for a patent. I was thinking on how to make something like that, accelerating itself but i failed :P another of my questions was proven wrong leading me to the conclusion it is impossible for magnets to be used in mine.

Anyone can file a patent with the US patent office, but it does take a significant fee. Go to www.uspto.gov to get the paperwork. You will need to write the patent according to the standard format and convince the patent examiner that the idea works and is novel (hasn't been done before).

If you ever want to sell the idea though, get an attorney to help you write and file the patent. Patents written by the uninitiated tend to miss certain critical language and therefore enable others to invalidate them or easily work around them. If you do use an attorney, expect to pay at least $10,000.

Either way, the process usually takes a couple of years.

You cant patent it for free but you can make yourself some solid evidence to prove you had the idea first.

Take lots of photos and videos, put them down on proper media, paper CD tapes etc and put them in a padded envolope. Take it to your local post office and mail it to yourself registered letter. Get the post office to stamp or sign accross the leter opening.

When it arrives back at your house DO NOT OPEN IT! Keep it somewhere safe in the event someone takes the idea, you can take them to court, open the letter right infront of the courts show them te documents photos videos and drawings and you have an officaly dated and un disputable proof that it is your design and your property.

Unless the other party can prove they had the idea before you (in a similar way) then thats just as good as a patent.

Hope you found this usefull.

To get a patent, you must first research other similar inventions and make sure your invention is different. Then you must make drawings and often a working model to receive a patent. Often, people need a patent attorney to help protect their ideas. The whole process can easily cost $3,000 or more. Be careful not to go to companies that offer to help inventors, they usually ask for fees in excess of $1,500 and do little to help and sometimes even steal your idea.

THE FIRST ONE TO FILE GETS THE PATTEN IF ANY ONE DOES. PATTEN PENDING SET YOU AS FIRST AND LETS OTHERS SEE IF THEY WANT TO GET IN ON A GOOD THING. THE PRICE IS SMALL. LOOK UP THE HISTORY OF THE TELEPHONE.AND TRANSISTOR
