Realize its all a part of growing up and being responsible. Other than that, stay on the same time schedule for going to bed and waking up seven days a week. If you are staying up late and sleeping in on the weekends, you're not allowing your body to set it's on enternal alarm clock.

All these tips about "getting with it" and start understanding responsibility. Oh, I understand alright just not first thing in the morning. Here is what works best for me but keep in mind that I still mess up sometimes. I have multiple alarms and none are within arms reach. I set the times close together because by hitting snooze I'm able to slip back into full on sleeping despite the fact that I've gotten up to hit the snooze button. I don't know about you but I can move around and not be awake, yet.
I prefer to take a shower in the morning but I need to take one at night because I move way too slow in the morning for all that. It's even better when I pick out my clothes but that rarely happens.
I've also heard of an alarm clock that turns on a light when it's time to get up. I don't have one because it was a little pricey for me but light does help me to wake up. Good luck! I congratulate you for recognizing the need to change and I know how difficult it is. Sometimes I think the only way I will be able to do it consistently is if I marry a man who will shove me out of bed when the alarm rings.

It depends on why you are late.
Is it because you are really tired and push snooze a ton of times? The best way to cure this is to make sure that you are getting enough sleep. You said that you are going to bed as early as possible, but you didn't say whether that makes it possible for you to get a full night's sleep. Getting enough sleep will help make it easier to get up in the morning and get going. If you are doing too many things that you can't get enough sleep, see if it's possible to cut some unnecessary activities out of your life.
Like the previous answerer, I also have a timer that turns on a lamp in my room if I know I'm going to be waking up while it's still dark. I find it easier to get out of bed if there's some light. I found mine by typing "digital timer" or something like that into Froogle.
Is it because you don't correctly predict how long it will take you to get ready and go to work in the morning? You need to make a better estimate. You can simply keep a chart where you keep track of how long it takes you to do certain morning activities for, say, 2 weeks. After that period of time, you should have a pretty good idea of just how long it takes you to get ready. Then you can better predict how much time to leave for yourself.

Well, you say you get to bed early. What do you consider early? Maybe you need to get to bed no later than 9pm so you can wake up early. Set your alarm clock to wake up 10 or 15 minutes earlier than you are ordinarily supposed to wake up, then hit the snooze button so you have an extra 10 minutes of sleep. When the alarm goes off at that point just turn it off and get up. Once you get in the shower, you'll wake up.

Aside from all of the other advice, you should make a daily routine related to sleeping. For example, an hour before you sleep, you start doing this or that (e.g reading a book, watching tv, etc.) to help you relax before you sleep, signalling to your body that you're going to sleep. Make sure that as much as possible this is consistently the same time, even on weekends. The same for the time you wake up. If you sleep in on weekends, you'll throw off your body clock again and be late again on Monday.
I should know, I always sleep in on weekends. =p

You need to set your alarm clock to several different times, starting an hour and half before it's time for you to leave in order to get to work on time. Good Luck, cause if you don't do something soon you may be out of a good job.

Have two alarm clocks. one a regular plug in clock and the other a wind up clock and put them across the room away from where you sleep. use the wind up clock as a back up in case the power would go out for some reason. set the clocks for at least an hour and 30 mintues before you have to be to work. when they go off get up turn them off and stay up

It takes a little discipline. Decide that you are going to wake up a little earlier and leave the house earlier than normally (decide a time you are supposed to leave). Put your alarm clock somewhere far enough for you to have to get up to switch it off, yet not too far away for you to hear it well and wake up when it rings. Then be hard on yourself, "I will NOT go back to bed!"

I had this problem, First don't make obligations at some unreasonlaby early hour, you won't make it, second set you're alarm clock way ahead so you can hit the snooze button alot.
My alarm is set and hour and 20 min before work Mon-Fri and i hit the snooze every ten min before i wake up

Move your alarm clock to the far side of the room. If you have to get out of bed and walk over to turn it off you've got a fighting chance to stay awake.
