I beg to differ with these other answers, it is ca for internet but I'm 30+, lived in Canada my entire life and have always thought and been taught that the abbreviation was 3 letters Can. Provinces have 2 letters like N.S. for Nova Scotia or Ab for Alberta

There is no 2 letter abbreviation for Canada. When mailing within Canada, the post guidelines are only the Province/Territory is abbreviated with 2 letters - https://www.canadapost.ca/tools/pg/manual/PGaddress-e.asp .
When mailing to Canada from the U.S. still only 2 letters are used for the Province/Territory, and "Canada" is written out - http://pe.usps.gov/text/pub28/28apa_005.htm
When writing/expressing Canadian Dollar, 3 letters are used: CAD
When writing an article/blog, the Associated Press Guidelines are not to abbreviate Province/Territory or the country.

It is CA
The international abbreviation for Canada is CA
Nothing to do with .ca or the internet.
California, or Cal or CA (Cal) is something different.
Anything bound for shipment to Canada is marked CA
Provinces are also two letters. Who ever said the country is 3 letters and provinces two, needs some education in the matter.
Canada is CA
