Well, I was raised as a christian and was taught religious knowledge from an extremely early age. One of the problems I had with Christianity was the people who were teaching it. The continual touching of parts of my body by countless followers of Christ caused me to question this type of teachings.
Later on in life when I was big enough and smart enough to start asking questions these "leaders of the church" They attempted to hush it all up.
So I guess this influenced me against Christianity or religion of any kind.
The likes of Roberts, Hinn and Graham to mention a few who prey on the weak has strengthened my resolve to expose Christianity for all it's wrong doings. I would have preferred to promote Christianity. Unfortunately as much as I looked I found nothing worthy of promotion.
So yes I am a saved christian . Saved from the evil hypocrisy practiced, not by all, there are some good people amongst Christians , but by the people who should know better than to misuse the trust placed in them.
God loves everyone. Yet I am doomed to go to Hell. Sex is filthy , the dirty devils work. And I should save it for someone I love.
As you say to me if I don't like it don't come here. This is just an exclusive little club where you can all tell each other how good you are.
I challenge you Christians as individuals. What have you as a person contributed to mankind of your own volition?
Tell us what decisions did you make about your lives that were not already made for you?
No I am saved alright.
Take good care.

Yes I am, and everyone should be.... Because as a old theologian Pascal, that put it this way.

If you are "saved" and it is real you are in eterenal presence of God.
If you are "saved' and it isn't real well you will have still lived a life with purpose and meaning while helping others.

If you are not saved and it is not real then nothing is lost, and you still lived a good life.
if you are not save and it is real your in Hell for ever, ever, ever, and ever.
a very hot place for a very long time.

and God doesn't just save everybody. He only saves those that recognize the they can't do it (life) with out help and a savoir. because ,all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23.

As I write this I've been a non-Christian for about two and a half years. In that time I've read and written much about the flaws and fallacies of Christianity.

Christianity makes a mockery of God. At the same time that Christians claim to worship God as an omnipotent, omnipresent, omnibenevolent being, they make him out to be incompetent bumbler. Or worse. Simple forgiveness is beyond his capacities. God must "sacrifice himself to himself to change a rule he made himself!"

This is not only an absurdity, it is an essential absurdity. It is present in almost almost all forms of Christianity, and one can scarcely remove it and remain a Christian in anything but name. By definition, all Christians worship Christ - in some form - and most worship him as a saviour.

But what, exactly, is he saving us from? Though it varies from church to church, no matter what they call it, it's God himself. A hell created by God, a world fallen as a result of God's negligence, a separation from God imposed... by God.

"It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being."
- Dan Barker, Losing Faith in Faith Christianity certainly isn't the first religion to promote appeasement of its gods, and if it were merely another supernatural protection racket, it would be bad enough. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there. Christians elevate appeasement to the realm of "personal relationship", transforming their religion into a true monstrosity.

This is the type of "relationship" that abused wives have with their husbands, that brainwashed hostages have with their captors. It is known in clinical circles as Stockholm Syndrome. Should it come as any surprise that the cries of the church, "The Bride of Christ" sound much like the cries of an abused wife attempting to protect her husband?

"He must beat me."
"I deserve it."
"He has no choice."
"It's for my own good."

These excuses don't work for human abusers, and they work even less well for God. For if God is omnipotent, he must have a choice. And if we are flawed, we are only flawed because that is the way he made us. (No excuses that we ruined his perfect creation. A truly perfect creation does not self-destruct.)

If the Christian God does exist - and I see no reason to believe that he does - he's not worthy of the name.

And that is the ultimate absurdity of Christianity.

Yes, I am a saved Christian. I followed the plan of salvation in Acts 2:38. This is how you are saved. God offers salvation to all, and He died on the Cross for all, you just have to do as He asks. It is really very simple: He gave His life for you; are you willing to give your life to Him?

Absolutely!

I accepted Jesus as my savior on Mother's Day (5-14-06) and it has been the most important, wonderful decision I have ever made in my life. It changed me in so many ways. Words cannot even begin to describe how awesome it feels, just knowing that no matter what life brings, I have our wonderful, powerful God there with me.
