I love my Ford Mustang! All the Fords that I've came across have been great! But then again my ex has a 1975 Chevy Camaro & that car is BAAD!!! I love all the classics, Ford & Chevy! But as of right now Ford definitely wins!

This depends. Currently I think both make ugly cars. Late 90's I think Chevy's were better. Early 90's I'd have to go Ford.

I sure do like Fords. Especially diesel powered Fords. I can't stand what GM did to the Chevy truck. Ugly styling and if they got rid of On Star, I think they'd get more business.

Well I used to be died in the wool Ford Blue.
But after the Ford Ranger 4.0 fiasco...
A long drawn out story kept short. I tried to get them to fix the 4.0 noise from the timing chain in my '01. It seems to plague almost every Ford 4.0 liter engine in the Ranger and they said no. Well not outright, but I took it in to the dealer 6 times. The first 5 it was under warranty and they could not figure it out. Time #6 it was out of warranty and they suddenly knew what the $800.00 problem was. I argued and fought with both the dealer AND Ford both. No luck. It still makes the noise and I am getting rid of it soon.
My final answer.....
Chevrolet

Both are worthless. No American car company has produced decent cars for over a quarter century. I used to debate over this with people, but since I began working in a body shop a couple years ago I have come to realize how poorly made American cars are today. They would be lucky if they lasted 10 years.
Euro/Jap cars all the way. They do it with more quallity and style.

Ford it the truck leader.
Ford F series has outsold Chevrolet 29 years in a row.

I would have to go with Ford because Chevy's engines to date are not built like they was in the late 90's. The chevrolet engines now have plastic internal parts which won't hold up. They have more problems with this then you can imagine.
