We have 3 90 inch double mullet windows, and to cut cost of decorative curtain rods, am using a new piece of 1/2 in conduit for cafe curtains. Need advice on what to do with the end of the conduit, something econmical, but decorative. Thanks

I think you could plug the end with maybe a piece of cork and screw in a drawer knob from the hardware store.. It may be better to put the cork plug on the screw first and shove it into the conduit. Jo-anns stores have unfinished wood turnings,You might find a perfect sized plug there and finials also. I'm a decorator and I like your thinking outside the box. Hope this helps

Go to craft store and get wood decorations. 3 dimensional work best, but you can use flat. Finish however you like. attach a heavy gauge piece of wire to back side of decoration. Insert a cork into end of "curtain rod" then push wire into cork. Beautiful, classy, or goofy decorative ends to suit any style. And they cost very little. (about $5 for all of it)

You can use craft balls or even cheap childrens balls, go to the fabric section of Walmart, look for samples or fabric remnants glue to ball and super glue ugly side of the ball into the end opening of the rod. You can cover balls in anything, I had a friend tore strips of paper bags and glue them on, then stained it. It looks like leather. Be creative use what you have or modify. Hot glue is your friend.

Don't know where you live but HD and Lowes in the USA sell deco finials. I have to believe fabric shops do as well,,, IE: Jo Ann fabrics here.

Maybe try some large tassles (found in fabric stores) to match your curtains and use a glue gun to adhere! (glue guns are VERY inexpensive & glue even cheaper)
