MY opinion is: some are legitimate and some are just out to rip you off for your money - do background checks on some of the clinics your thinking of going to, make sure that they are indeed licensed doctors that specialize in pain management.

Many Hospitals and organizations run pain clinics for their patients. You need to find one that's reputable and has a good history. One that works with a major Hospital or quality care provider.
