What options do I have? She opened it while we were seperated and made the first couple of payments, when she found out we were not going to get back together she went out and charged $11,000 dollars and since I was not living at the house I never received a bill or even knew there was a new account opened without my permission, what are my legal options?

Contact the credit card agency and tell them the situation and see if they can advise you further. Chances are they probably won't, but it's worth a shot. After you've tried that, contact a lawyer. This is not something that you're stuck with. If you had AGREED to the card, you would be against a wall, but since she did it in your name, it's not your problem. Definitely contact an attorney as soon as possible. You can take her to court to pay for the bills and possibly pain and suffering, as well.

Close it, Contact the Card Co, Hire A Lawyer, File Bankruptcy. Start at the beginning and continue until it is fixed. Stop when fixed.

If you never signed the application, you file an affidavit of fraud with the credit card company and disavow the debt in writing. Contact the fraud unit of the card company; they will walk you through the steps.
