Check out www.alternativescentral.com , it's a website from an herb shop I attend here in Portland. I've had chest pains when I was 17, It may be you need to drink alot more water. Your chest pains could be from dehydration or from carbonated fluids, lack of vitamins/minerals. Might wanna go online to "Chest Pains" on your internet search button. The reason for chest pains is different for everyone, different reasons. There are things we do to and for our bodies. Take care of your body. Contact Me.

Im 19 now and i have had x-rays and tests done. come to find out there isn't any thing bad happening the walls in my chest would actually get irritated and it would feel like i was being stabbed in the chest. i now take allergy shots for it and it helps a lot!! the only set back is that i have to keep getting the shots because they only last for a few weeks

You may have indigestion or a heart condition or an esophageal stricture. The easiest thing to rule out would be indigestion. Does it happen more after a meal? Try drinking 7-up and see if you are able to burp. If this doesn't help, suspect one of the other items I suggested. Only a Dr can rule these out. And DON'T be afraid to go.

Take some meds like Tylonal or something. If your chest pains increase, it would be wise to visit your doctor, or get new medications. If things are very serious, you may want to go to the hospital.

Hope you feel better.

I would say that you are rather young for chest pains, how frequent are they? do you have any breathing problems associated with them.
Do you smoke? Have you lifted weights recently or did any sort of exercise that might have caused you to pull anything.
Bottom line I guess is when in doubt check it out.

I used to get chest pains when I was your age. They were panic attacks brought on by overindulgence of caffeine & sugar while being SUPER stressed out.
You shoulf go to a doctor for testing to rule out anything else just in case.

This could be anxiety attacks. I had them many times when I was younger and had no idea what they were and it scared me. think about it, are you stressed in any way shape or form and if so what have you been doing to relieve that stress if anything.
Just in case I'm wrong, Go to your doctor! They are not all idiots like many seem to think. When they start coming on, breath slowly and try rubbing right above your breast bone, right below your neck. This is always helped me.

Well I think you took the appropriate first step by posting your serious medical inquiry on an internet message board. This should be immediately followed up by consulting your horoscope in the local newspaper.

If that doesn't work I would call a plumber as soon as possible.

Doctor will tell you...with and x-rays, EKG and an eco-cardiogram.
You feel healthy but the doctor is the one that tells you that.
Unless you will being exercise a lot and feel the pain in your muscles but still the doctor is the one who tells.

Did you know that when people suddenly drop dead of a heart attack it usually turns out that they have been ignoring chest pains for six months. It's best to go see a doctor and get it checked out. It's not worth it if you ignore it and you are wrong.
