Make your own "lunchable" by cutting up lunch meat, cheese and crackers. Pitas are very good alternative instead of bread for sandwhiches.

buy a thermos and make good soups from scratch or try finger foods like veggies and dips and or granola mixe from whole things like dry fruits and real large nuts and berrys

yogurt, dried fruit, sunflower seeds, peanuts, granola bars, fresh fruit (in summer you can freeze yogurt tubes & they will do double duty for keeping other items cold as they defrost during the day)
