First of all, we have to agree on a definition of "God." Is God "Love"? If so, love doesn't wear a toga, look like a white man, or sport a beard. When you say "God is not so stupid as to . . ." you profess to know the mind of what, if anything, created the universe. Where do you get your information? As for your phrase "hell-in-a-handbasket for 2000 years . . ." -- the earth is billions of years old. What was "god" doing all that time? If your answer is "building the world" - well, according to quantum physics, once the initial conditions were in place -- i.e., so much hydrogen, some helium, and a bit of lithium, stars formed and the rest is cosmic history. Didn't need any help after ten-to-the-minus-forty-third seconds ATB (After The Bang"). (Google "Planck time" if you want to - it's a very, very brief time period from when time began, a trillionth of a trillionth of a trillionth of a billionth of a second.) So, "he" just sat around for the last 14 billion years? (the estimated age of the universe). As for the Bible, it was written by sand people who thought a spear was high tech. If god actually wrote a book, don't you think "he" could have done a better job? And why all the secrecy? Oh, I know, because he's testing our "faith." Great, the Creator of the Universe plays mind games, has an insecurity complex, and has jealousy issues. I say, believe in love. Have faith in kindness. Jesus was a hippie, that's all. They crucified him for preaching love and kindness. Nothing new there.

** I can prove that no christians practice what they preach .?
Jesus is God. Jhn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Jhn 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we [are]. there are plenty more but hopefuly this will set you on a study of Jesus's divinity.
For 2000 yrs? since the day of Penecost, when the Holy Ghost was poured out on all flesh as the Prophet Joel spoke. the Church age began. this is also known as the Dispensation of Grace & the time of the Gentiles. It is at the end of this agethat Jesus spoke when he said I will not forsake you even to the end of the age. The Rapture will also take place. depending on your dispensational views (pre/mid/post) Tribulation. The Great Tribulation will begin with the when the time of the gentiles is full.
the 1ooo yrs is not the rule of Satan but the imprisonment.
Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Christians are not perfect. all Christians are called to preach the good news. Jesus never told us to condemn each other or pass Judgement. Man himself does these things. this is why the Holy Spirit is so critical in our lifes. every beleiver is a work in progress. Paul said where sin is Grace abounds all the more. Grace is for our benifit because we are flawed. it is not liscens to be sinful.

#1. Don't know what Bible you are reading, but stop reading it.
#2. To be a Christian means to be Christ-Like
#3. Jesus is not above God
#4. The point you are making is....what exactly?
#5. In addition to #2, just b/c someone is a Christian & they are supposed to be Christ-Like, doesn't make them perfect.
#6. Not sure which Christians you've been hanging around w/that critize others, but sounds like you don't need to hang around them anymore since it seems to annoy you.
#7. God is fighting Christianity~you got that from...where?
#8. Sounds like the Christians you know have turned you off to God and I am sorry for that, but you are judgeing all Christians based on your experiences that haven't gone too well.
#9. Are you expecting Christians to be perfect? We are all human and have our mistakes and make our poor choices, but Jesus is the only perfect person.
#10. Next time you want to make judgement on someone, make sure it's just the person that did you wrong not the entire group.

What Bible are you reading? Satan will never rule, but I think you are mentioning a passage in the Bible where Satan will be let loose for a season during Jesus Christ's millennial reign to test peoples faith living on Earth. I pity you that you are ignorant of the work you are trying to disprove. Good luck with that. Read The Case for Christ and find out what happened to Lee Strobel. Have a nice day! =)

Do you even understand this, we are of sinners, our wages of death is sin, we are stuck in sin right now, do you think that is where satan comes in.
Jesus will return again, the rule of satan getting into peoples minds will be over, Satan will then go to the pit.
What people don't understand is satan is not in hell right now, he is amongst us. But only if you accept Jesus Christ as your savior, do you have the holy spirit, and satan can't touch you.
If you believe that Jesus Christ died in your place to cleanse you of your sins, then you are made holy.
As far as you say christians do things, Only God is perfect, and we are not, we are taught to not criticize others and such in the Bible.
God sent Jesus to save our souls, that is why it takes so long, Jesus wants christianity to be spread and more to be saved, God does not give up on us, and is waiting for those who will come.

You are twisting things around to suit your needs and have proven nothing. God allowed man free will. In that, MAN is changing the world, MAN is taking God out of our schools, MAN is taking God out of our courthouses, and the list goes on. As far as your 1000 years statement, you are thinking about what is said in Revalations. After the tribulation, Satan will reign over the earth for 1000 years. Ever pay attention to the AD and BC in dates on years? The AD refers to time after Jesus died on the cross. Let's see, it is 2006AD. That is two-thousand and six years!! Also, We do not put Jesus above God. That is impossible as Jesus is part of God. An outsider looking in and throwing stones without knowing would never see that.

Nobody, and I mean nobody practices what they believe 100% of the time because we are an imperfect people, and imperfection leaves us vulnerable to mistakes. You don't have to be a Christian to be a hypocrite...that is an attribute all men are guilty of.
The living God is not fighting against humanity nor Christianity, but He is fighting for the reconciliation of all people to Himself.
Unfortunately, it seems as though you have been offended or hurt and have made the mistake of lumping the bad that you have experienced by whomever in with the good of many that you can neither see nor understand.

Well, we do mess up, but we TRY. I'm not so sure about Hell reigning, Heaven will, and most of those going 2 Heaven R Christians. We also do NOT TRY put Jesus above God; He IS God, but, like I said we do mess up; we don't put enough emphasis on God usually(, but, EVERY1 sins)
He doesn't fight us Christians, but He fights with us against evil. We R NOT trying 2 criticize athers; our goal is 2 HELP others get in 2 heaven. U've got some of it wrong.

The Bible says that he will destroy the earth and for 1000 years Satan will be bound to Earth with his demons while the people who were saved on Judgement Day will live in Heaven and thrive... what Bible are you reading? Religion is so overrated... it the beliefs, not the religion that matters.

i am a Christian and you are absolutely right I and other Christians do not always practice what we preach. I am not perfect and I do make mistakes and am not set a good example all the time. However, I do try and I know that God forgives me and respects that I try. I will pray for you. I hope you can understand what I am saying. I am a Chriatian but I have friends who are Buddhist, Hindu, Mormon, Quakers, etc. I have attended their church services and learned something from all of them that I can apply in my life to help me grow closer to God. I do not critize them and they respect me and my beliefs as well.
