I am apalled by some of the answers and questions, don't people fear God, I would not want to be in their shoes, and I pray for them to find the real meaning of life, because its not a joke, God is our only protection from satan and we should be thankful everyday for Jesus dying for our sins, everytime someone sins, how hurtful do you think that is to Jesus, who was nailed to that cross and whose blood ran for our sins in place of us?

I think it's good that we ask questions and provoke dialogue and thoughts in each other because that is how we learn. But I do agree that some people on these posts are insensitive to other beliefs/religions. I personally think that God wants us to be able to think for ourselves and he wants us to be searching for answers. And the only way we can do that is to ask pretty difficult questions, that oftentimes can make us and others uncomfortable. And by the way, being uncomfortable as a result of these types of discussions aren't necessarily a bad thing. It means that we are questioning our own beliefs which can only lead us to either re-confirm them or change them. Either way, it means personal and spiritual growth, which is what I personally believe that God wants for all of us.
