Will Islam take over the United States of America?

Here in my area of Michigan Mosque are being built at the rate of three to four a year. ( There are 500,000 Arabs in my area ) They are beautiful to look at but the people who go there really are different. For example, The women are all covered up and the men look like Osama Bin Laden. They tell me their goal is to turn the USA into an Islamic nation sometime in the next 20 to 30 years. They plan on taking over by the vote and not by violence. They tell me it's a peaceful religion and we will all fall in love with Allah if given a chance. They said Islam is the way and Christianity is a false religion. What do you think?

I actually read a book based on that premise, called Prayers for the Assassin, where America was now a divided country - a bible belt Christian nation, and an Islamic nation. In any case, it is Islams professed goal to convert everyone into Islam - either convert by preaching, convert by inducement, convert by coersion, or simply outpopulate them by breeding.

This trend is somewhat visible in europe - with its more liberal immigration policy. In countries like Norway, Itali, Sweden etc., the only ones comming in (legally or illegaly) are predominantly muslims from Africa/ South Asia, and the only ones producing 5-10 children are also muslims.

I am not sure whether Islam is a true or false religion, or in fact, if there is even any true religion. But I am sure that Islamic jurisprudence (based on Sharia) is a false jurisprudence. It relies too much on unproven, or false theologies, is much too barbaric for modern standards, does not allow for any growth and is certainly discriminatory towards women.

I dont have any issues with people professing their religion at their homes in private, but I certainly would not want the laws of the land to be based on one. And even if some mosques are being built in Michigan, I dont think US is in danger of becoming an Islamic country (any time soon).

The United States. Democratic status. Was the source of the controversy at Valley Forge. The founding fathers were democratic. The people who wanted a republic almost starved the entire American army out to prove their point. Then it was set up as a democracy for the people and Thomas Jefferson ended up speaking a lot about it. Then these losers called the puratins came in, representing the republic (big businesses). They fought for almost 100 years to reverse the constitution and all the equal rights stuff. Now you see it, they still try to make it a nazi or king james state. But most of what they have done is public. Because of their joker mentality, now many huge financial industry based entities have more power then people and actually contradict what America stands for. America is supposed to be a democracy, but because of the corrupt idiots who took unrestrained actions. Some things like the federal government. Even though they are a corporation. As a ruling body. It's just a mish mash of good people and dirty people who support business over people.

The goal of Muslims is not to take over America. It is to spread the truth about God - that He is one with no sons, daughters, or any other type of associate, and that Muhammad is His last messenger. However, only God knows the fate of America and if it becomes a majorty Muslim country sometime in the future, that would be great for humanity. American ideals practiced by Muslims is amazing. Just look at all the successful Muslims in America.

Islam is truth.

The way things are going, could be that they will take over.
About what they say of the islam being a peaceful religion and ala, etc, just ask osama bin laden about that.
You should also ask the soldiers just tortured and murdered in iraq about how peaceful islam is

I am not a partisan of ANY form of sectarian religion (I was born catholic, but that is far as its gone for me), I don't think any of them has a clue to the real truth of life or spirituality. They are just flogging their brand of medicine, insisting that it will make you well. They are just as lost as everybody else, but are arrogant or ignorant enough to imagine that you must be coerced to swallow their holier than thou, nonsense in order to be saved.
Believe what you want. Why be concerned with others, if your God; (whatever you want to call Him, already marking Him off as different from the God of everybody else, thus inadvertently limiting and falsifying the glory of the true God ... who certainly does not need the likes of them to peddle his image - The true God being the "God of ALL", not just a few "self" selected ones among us) is so great as you say, people everywhere would know it instinctively, without your influence.
If God were to state an opinion on all this, there certainly would not be a lot of praise for all these communities. All that has been accomplished is to draw a rift between God's children, by their own doing (and in His Name to top it all), which sort of undermines the whole Divine Plan.
One thing is for sure ... God has not spoken directly to ANYONE, since the creation despite claims to the contrary. This is obvious from the state of affairs in the world up to the present. So give the world a break. Let go and let GOD!

Do you live in Hamtramck? I live in the Detroit area and I'm familiar with what your saying. However, I don't think Islam will ever take over here because churches still outnumber mosques, I'd say, 5 to 1.

I agree that the Mexicans have a tremendous lead over the Muslims. I really don't think the Muslims can catch up.

However it is a battle between two cultures that believe in having as many children as they possibly can.

No it won't coz more ppl getting education and more modern religions are starting taken off, look at quantum physics for example.
Ppl asking for mroe explanations and old religions can't provide them. So Church is becomming liberal, ppl get chance to see other information and so on. Give it or take another 50 years and most old religion will just exists as piece of history.
Therefore GOD exists.

They will not take over because they are a false religion that seduces the inferior. Their God is the true God of Abraham, but their version of him comes through the 'prophet' Muhammed who was a mass murderer and liked to have sex with little children and animals like swine.

Are you ACTUALLY being serious? There is no way they will take over America... ever. And what part of Michigan do you live in? 500,000 Arabs in one part of one state? Hmm.
