My advice would be not to go out to the movies w/ your x... And straight up, tell him to stop calling you.. If he cheated on you why would you want to still be friends w/ him anyways?? Maybe you still have feelings for your x?? Hope not!! And as far as your new man, just let him know that your x called you wanting to hang out, and you told him you were all set because you already have a new man, and to leave you alone.. Just tell your man the truth.. If he finds out some other way than you telling him, he may never trust you, and trust is the key to a relationship..

First of all, you should of said no to him because he cheated on you. If you don't even like him as a friend, it shouldn't be a problem to say no. On the other hand, if you plan to go, tell your boyfriend and ask for his opinion.

You stated your ex no longer has a girlfriend and asked you go to movies with him, his friend and his gf..What else would you call it but a Double date. What is confusing is why are you telling the new bf about being asked out.Wouldn't it be best not to say anything to new bf.( esp. since not going anyway)

I don't think your boyfriend is going to mind that your ex wants you to go to the movies but if you go then I think there will be problems. If you really don't like him then, you shouldn't have stayed on the phone long enough for him to ask you to the movies. Be careful.

do u want to loose your boyfriend or you want to please your ex-boyfriend?
esp. if it is a double date... and you know he is not faithful...
he might have thought you as an easy target and might be taking chances for you to come back... (get into bed , more like)
if you really want to go , you first of all be truthful to yourself..
talk to your b/f(since you love him so) he might understand...
and no way you should cheat on your b/f... you can be friends with your ex- but make sure you deal with him in such a way that he doesn't try to take this friendship to another(sexual) level!
never try to encourage him...
stay true to your better half!!!

why is you x still calling you, are you still friends with hI'm. your b/f should not be mad because you did say no you would not go with them. if your x is that big a jerk then you should tell him to stop calling you. the next time he calls you and asks you to go some where, tell him you and your b/f will go, im sure he will stop asking after that. good luck and take care

You have a b/f. the X doesn't get to go out with you anymore because he never respected or valued your sense of Trust or your sense of People. Your new b/f does.
Given the choice, seems obvious, doesn't it?

Be honest! After all you don't like your X and you aren't going to go so it only Will show your present bf that you are honest with him about this jerk trying to get you to go to the movies, even after all his cheating.

If you're not going to go...then why are you worried about telling your current boyfriend?
Just be honest with him. Tell him the ex called, he asked, you said no and that's that.
