i don't know what girls are looking for and i need some help with it. should i focus on my looks or my attitude more? and what should i do about it?

I would say that I keep a guy around longer if he has a good attitude, has manners, and treats me right, even if I'm not attracted to him physically. A woman likes to be treated like a princess, and if you don't then she will go on to the next guy.
I secretly have a checklist of things that I look for on the first few dates that impress me the most, and I will clue you in on a few: 1. how they treat the waiter. Are they rude and impatient or courteous and friendly to a total stranger. 2. how they talk about their family, especially their mothers. Do they respect a woman's role or are they sexist? 3. how they treat unexpected change of plans. Are they flexible or rigid? Do they show their disappointment or hide their feelings? If you master these topics, I would say you are doing well.
But I would definitely keep up your appearances to, because that is how you are going to get noticed, and women take note if the guy takes care of himself or not.

At first, girls like guys who are good looking, but when they become more familiar with each other they begin to look for good personalities. you should focus on your attitude because after awhile the girl is going to want you to treat her good, more than you looking good. so just work on your attitude and your personality, a good girl will like you for your good attitudes, not only your good looks. and to get the girl you want you must first show her your good attitudes and no doubt she would talk to you.

Attitude,if you're in the presence of an intuitive female, always beats out looks. Now, of course looks count a little. You can't expect to be pulling numbers, looking like Ugly's cousin. But then again, look at Beauty and The Beast?(I suppose that's why they call stories like this fairy tales.)

both are very important to a girl. she wouldn't date a monkey but she wouldn't date a guy who's a jerk. umm. .. mostly on the personality and attitude towards life though.

a few years ago I would have said good-looking..but now i'd much rather have a caring guy...looks fade, something who cares doesn't...BRING ON THE GOOD GUYS!!
