Just so you know we bartenders will respond well to being flirted with and even flirt back if we are working. Hello tips are sooo much better that way. I tolerate so much more when behind the bar than I do any other time.

as an ex-bartender- I'd have to say she is just being friendly as it is part of the job- I guess it depends on what exactly the signles you are getting are...
if she asks "hey- where have you been"? then that is not a signal- but if she asks more intimate things, like things about your life or your plans for the upcoming weekend then she might actually be interested-

My dad married a bartender and she was a complete B****! She was a bad alcoholic (the hint should of been her working in a bar) and she not only abused my little brother emotionally but also physically. Go find someone better. Didn't anyone ever tell you to never find a girl in a bar.

It is her job to send mixed signals. She is getting hit on by every guy in the bar, and she is working for tips. Stop tipping her well and see what happens!

It's her job to be friendly and seem interested. That's how she makes her money. Every bartender I've ever met acts that way. Turn your focus to other chicks in the bar.

Mixed signals may mean to things...
1. she's not interested and just being polite
2. she's interested but doesnt want to show she likes you too much

You're drunk with money. She's behind the bar and makes her living mainly on tips. Do the math....Unless she asks YOU out, forget it. Guys probably hit on her all the time. You're just one more.
