There are no stairs. It's a one story house.

If every last thing in the house is green then it goes without saying that the stairs are green...unless its a bungalow in which case it has no stairs! However some bungalows have loft conversions and an additional staircase. My god this is confusing!

see, the problem is you said "house". Had you said "bungalow," the correct answer would be that a bungalow doesn't have stairs. As it is, stairs in this house would be green.
