I can't, God does that. He just leaves the final decision up to you whether you will follow or not.

Well, do you want to prove Christianity or the existence of a god? Because Christianity, as a religion, exists. Jesus, as an historical figure, most likely did exist. I would point out that he himself was Jewish and that the church did not decide he was divine until over 300 years after Christ's death.
Seems to me you're asking for proof of the beliefs of Christianity--and you'll never get that because you can't prove things that don't exist. What you're gonna get is a lot of crap about "faith," which is all the believers have to fall back on because even they know they have no proof.
You also need to remember that the Bible is divided into two parts: the old testament and the new. Only the new involves Christianity--so it's really a piece of Judeo-Christian propaganda.

The bible, every word is written by man. You are going the right direction to find your own truth. This is good. But the part you are not getting is you do it openingly, not with hate. Creating division is not something wise to do. The bible contains some wonderful teachings and truth, though, you have to look it at the right way. It is not to be kept as something you hold above all others. Truth is everywhere. God is everywhere. Be open to everything, with discernment. To fight for something to be true only means that it is not worth holding onto in the first place. So I say don't worry about proving this or that. Find our own way. Find your way to God. Not the one that is in a book or in a place up high, but the big authentic "G" god. The one that is in your everyday life. You will eventually find out that he is only a friend that will always walk beside you. ---- I may seem to be talking like a Christian, but this I am not. There is no such thing as "Christian", but only a mere name. It says nothing about you yourself.

I think your first question is quite understood, but your second statement about faith being "baseless" is sort of a "useless" statement because by definition "faith is the substance of things HOPED FOR and the evidence of things NOT SEEN" So faith is not supposed to be based on what is tangible, just for your info. No harm done, just clearing that up.
As for you original question, here are 2 of my answers:
1. whenever you see a painting, no matter the painting, how do you know someone painted it. The painter isn't in front of you, and no one is claiming it and yet you know SOMEONE painted it. What I am saying is everytime I see a beautiful sunset (painting), a baby being born (painting), the view of the ocean underwater when scuba-diving (painting), etc. I KNOW there is a painter (God) because the creation (you, me and all in the world) are indications of the Creator (God).
2. I am uneasy about a creation theory that basically tells me that I, and the world, and all that it contains, are one big accident because that is what the big bang theory is trying to say. So if you feel at ease saying you are one big accident, then hurrah for you but I and my family and friend and the world (including you, my dear) were MADE (on purpose and with purpose) by a Father who is perhaps the most patient of any parent I have ever known.
God bless.

Well, if I were to take you literally, it is very easy to prove Christianity. Christianity is a religion and it does exist. There are millions of people who have been Christians for two thousand years now. There are millions of people alive today who will tell you as eye witnesses that they are Christians and they practice Christianity. What I think you are asking for is proof that God exist and that Jesus was the Son of God. Religion is based on faith. If you are that bitter towards Chrisitianity then don't believe it, but don't be bitter towards people who do. Why does it bother you so much that people want to believe that there is a higher power out there that created us and will one day judge us for the way we live? It's not true right? Then why are you so worried about it. I don't believe in Bigfoot, but I won't go on a campaign against people who do because it doesn't effect me at all. So what you need to ask yourself is why you care so much about what other people believe if it's not true. Maybe it's because there's a little part of you that is scared that maybe it is true and if it is your miserable worthless soul will rot in hell for eternity.

Take a look at nature. Everything works just as it should and everything has a purpose. Also, take a look at history. The events of the Bible correspond with event in history. For example, many cultures document a great flood that took place just like the flood in the Bible. History even documents the existence of Jesus. It is just that most people do not believe that he was God.

I pray that this will not be the only thing that will be ruled out for you when you stand before the Lord God Almighty. Everyone will have all the proof they need then. For some the revelation may be only a heart beat too late and an eternity too early. Until then we will all have to rely on the only thing that we have of any value in God's eyes, our FAITH. It is the God given currency for us to invest in Jesus this side of the great divide, not the next. With it we will store up riches in heaven, without it, for us there can be no heaven.
Proof requires no faith, it negates it, it cancels it out, and yet through faith in Jesus we can obtain all the proof we need and still have room for a walk of faith with Him.
Before I became a Christian, I would sometimes hear my named called, usually when quite and alone. I would normally dismiss it as imagination. It wasn't proof but it did start me on a journey that eventually led to salvation.
My personal belief is that those calls came as a direct result of someones prayer interceding on my behalf. With this in mind my prayers are with you now. May God be with you and may He cause His face to shine upon you in Jesus name, Amen.

I cannot prove Christianity to you....the only thing I can prove is that I'm a believer and long to meet with my Savior and Father, my Creator. No one will ever be able to prove to you Christianity, because the only person who can decide that it's right for you, is you. I can pray for you, teach you more about it, and everything like that, but can ONLY prove my Faith. So, if we have to prove to you Christianity, how about how were we created? How did we have great leaders who lived and died? How did we survive? How were we made? How come we exist? Everything is explained through God
God bless

Prove it? That's like proving that up is up, that water is wet, that gravity will always exist. Prove any of those.
The Bible was not written by God - even for believers the only thing written by God himself is the original copy of the ten commandments. The Bible is inspired by God and written by man.
From the tone of your question, God could not be proven to you if He confronted you Himself. If you are not open to persuasion, don't waste your time and everyone else's time by asking.

I believe with all my heart, mind, and strength that Jesus is Lord and that He did die for me.
The Bible is not fary tales:
http://users.netconnect.com.au/~leedas/i...
The following is taken from The New Evidence that Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell:
"1B.Cornelius Tacitus
According to Habermas, "Cornelius Tacitus (c. A.D. 55-120) was a Romans historian who lived throuhg the reigns of over a half dozen Roman evperors. He has been called the 'greatest historian' of ancient Rome, an individual generally acknowledged amoung scholars for his moral 'integrity and essential goodness.'" (Habermas, VHCELJ, 87) Tacitus's most acclaimed works are the Annals and the Histories. "The Annals cover the period from Augustus's death in A.D. 14 to that of Nero in A.D. 68, while the Histories of Domitian in A.D. 96." (Habermas, VHCELJ, 87)
Writing of the reign of Nerom, Tacitus alludes to the death of Christ and to the existence of Christians at Rome. His misspelling of Christ-"Christus"- was a common error made by pagan writers. Says Tacitus:
But not all the reliefe that could come from man, not all the bounties that the prince could bestow, nor all the atonements which could be presented to the gods, availed to relieve Nero from the infamy of being believed to have oredered the conflagration, the fire of Rome. Hence to suppress the rumor, he falsely charged with the guilt, and punished with the most exquisite tortures, the persons commonly called Christians, who were hated fro their enormities. Christus, the founder of the name, was put to death by Pontius Pilate, procurator of Judea in the reign of Tiberius: but the pernicious superstition, repressed for a time, broke out again, not only through Judea, where the mischief originated, but through the city of Rome also. (Annals XV, 44)"
"No serious scholar has ventured to postulate the non-historicity of Jesus." -Otto Betz

If it needs to be proved to you, you will still probably not accept it.
