just say "hi, I am so and so," then see where it leads, if you never do anything scary, you'll never grow or learn anything new

Just forget about who is him and start treat him like you don't care. Say hello every time you see him...and best of all make he notice you. How wen you were near him make another male friend invite you for a diner. Or say how wonderfully you are...or shout thanks for the program you write to me. Or you are excellent thanks for the history essay or whatever....
Do it several times until the guy hello! notice you....if he don't do anything just leave it.

mkay deary, here is what you do:
1. you introduce yourself, don't flirt, just be friendly; if he's interested, he'll engagae you. or, engage him. eg. "so, did you watch the game last night? it was really good."
2.become his friend and get to know him. this is key in ANY sucessful realtionship. just hang out and be pals.
3.if all goes well, then maybe you can admit to liking him. but-it doesn't always work out. i hope you found my answer helpful and good luck!
