O.k. I'm getting confused.........my new Sony DVD burner came with Nero, and you can get the updates etc. etc. But is the Nero 6 "Ultra" a better version? A friend said that these are the express versions, or something like that, and he desribed some things on his version of Nero 6 that was definitely different. In a nutshell, which is the most complete and full version of Nero 6? Thanks in advance!

I'm using nero 6.6.0.14 version, just updated it 4 months ago. Its excellent, has most of the format burning option.

Nero 7 is the most complete version out. You can even download 'trail versions' http://ww2.nero.com/enu/Downloads.html from Nero's website. Good Luck!

The retail version other than the free OEM version that come with your DVD burner.

Burning software is burning software. If it gets the job done then does it really matter? If it has ultra though it is probably the better version.
