I see allot of answer like he just is and so forth, but allot of religous people are confident they know his word and his teachings but none have a true explanation for god. I am truely interested in knowing what knowlegdable and objective adults think about this. I see allot of dumb religious questions but no one asks this or even has the answer yet we can answer , going to heaven and hell, jesus, the ten commandments, blah blah. Say he just WAS is the same as a big bang theory you have to come better than that.
I need intelliegent analytical answers please. The peanut gallery can respond too!

To understand Evaeril you must look deep into yourself. You are a mirror image. It is said that throughout the universe earth is looked upon as the play grond of the gods. Here gods are bred. Humans are the parasites of the universe always afraid of something coming but what about humans expanding. For humans shall always be miltary expansionist much like Evaeril

I posted this for the old question too, I just thought I'd post it seeing as I answered the first question after you'd written this question.
It's great to here you really want to follow an intelligent answer. I hope mine is :)
The quick answer is no-one, God was always there.
Genesis starts: "In the beginning God..."
Now we know that everything that happens has a cause. It's called "cause and effect". If I let go of a ball, it will drop to the floor. If I clap my hands it will make a noise.
Well everything that exists is there because something caused it to exist. A cake might exist because I mixed the ingredients together and put it in the oven. The sugar exists because it was grown in a field.
Now we can go back in time to look for a 'first cause.'
One common idea is that the big bang started it all off. (Whether it did or not is a different discussion.)
But, what caused the big bang? Well, something caused the big bang, and then something had to cause that, and something else had to cause that, and then something else had to cause that. Of course, I'd have to go on forever, for infinity.
But we can't. Time can't go off infinitely into the past, because if it did, it would never reach today. If inifinity ago existed there would be an infinite amount of time between then and today, so it would never actually reach today.
There has to be a beginning. Or else we'd never be here today. Something had to be the very first thing, not caused by everything, just there. So "In the beginning God." Nothing or no-one created God, he's always been there.
I hope you can follow the reasoning and the answer's been helpful. Ask for clarifications if you wish.

Hurray for the Peanut Gallery! I hope this makes sense!
I don't believe in the bible, so I'm not one of those people that answer questions like "where did we come from?" or "What is heaven like?" I believe in a greater power and feel good about that. Believing in the bible to me is irrational. I feel that God gave us common sense and intelligence so that we could use it!
I don't see anything wrong with saying that "I don't know." Why do I need to know anyways. I feel God and I believe. I don't feel like its my place to answer questions that are way over my brain power. Im just human and have no problem just believing and saying "I don't know." Its not hard, everyone should try it instead of going apes arguing about something that can't be proven. People die trying to prove their believes and its bullshit!
The only thing I'm confident of is that there is a God. I just feel it. I might be wrong..... I have theories but I don't KNOW anything!! Nothing wrong with that!

There is a lot of things in the Bible that are just founded on faith. God gives us an explination and we have to have faith that what he is telling us is the truth. In the Bible it says
Revelations 22:13
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Revelations 1:8
"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

No human can completely explain God because if one can, that makes him a God too just like if I can completely explain you that would make me you. There is always something to doubt about God even though the answer is before your eyes and no one will ever be content of man's explanation about God because everything that are explained are just our shallow understanding of things compared to the vastness of Gods work and the universe.
