I have been with my boyfriend for almost a year. He claims to love me, and that he even wants to marry me. BUT........his actions prove otherwise. He does not introduce me to anyone, he tells me that if we see his family out, just walk away, don't talk to them, he doesn't let me in his house, he says it's too messy. (He lives with his mother and brother). He has a page on myspace, and i do not exisit anywhere on it. There are loads of other things that he does that make me wonder about his faithfulness! He has this double standard thing, like it's okay for him to do something and not me. It's a male and female kind of deal with him. EXAMPLE: It's okay for a guy to have sex on the first date, and it's not bad for him, BUT if a girl does it, she is a total whore! DOUBLE STANDARD CITY!!! Enlighten me, people! I try to look for the good in people, but sometimes I am too stupid to see that there isn't any in some people.

if he can't introuduce you to his own family, let you in his house and you are nowhere on his myspace as his love- and other crap like that- sounds to me there is somethings up. You deserve better babes! move on and find someone who will treat you as a queen! It'll hurt yeah, but in the long run you'll be better off. You can look for the good in people but don't let them walk all over you and take advantage of you. A broken heart hurts but to allow it to continue is asking for the pain that goes along with it. Good luck babes!

Don't give up hope there are still good people out there - the bad thing this guy seems to be not one of them. He doesnt even act proud of you and that is just wrong. I hate to say someone is all bad and I have faith that everyone has some good in them but sometimes it is hard to see through the sugarcoating /bullsh*t to find it.
You have to respect yourself and look after yourself. One day you will find someone who will turn your life around. many do it everyday. You know you deserve nothing but the best and you should accept no less.
best of luck.

Get rid of him now!!!! He is a jerk to treat you that way and makes excuses for everything. Maybe he has someone else that family knows about and has to hide you!

It's not what he says, it's what he DOES. I think you can figure this one out on your own.
