Ha, ha. Dr. C didn't learn about how the languages developed until his fourth year of high school. I guess things are just slower in America. Elsewhere in the world you learn that stuff at around 10 or 11.

Actually, God did not create all of the languages that exist today. He created the original languages (whatever they were) and some died out and others evolved into entirely new languages.

I hate to break it to you but the languages spoken weren't created by God. They evolved just as man and his cultures have over time. For example modern English is a modified version of middle English. Middle English carried both a French and an Anglo Saxon influence. And then there was the original or Old English which is the direct language of the Anglo Saxon which used runes instead of the alphabet you're familiar with. You know you should have learned alot of this during your fourth year of high school. If you would like to know more about one of the first languages I suggest you look into ancient Sumer.

You have to love a story where god gets mad at the human race for working together and helping one another and attempting to build something to better society. God is such a selfish prick that he smashes the tower and makes everyone speak a difference language. So I guess god is responsible for xenophobia. Thanks Dick. Maybe we should try building the tower of Babel again. Just to piss him off.

He created them all! Not to say that language wouldn't be a tool of Satan to confuse people, but the spoken languages of man were all created by God.

Why do u worry about the amount of answers, rather than why? What convinces you that there is a God who did that? And if you believe that God did that, what else do you believe that God did? For example created us? If so, aren't u worried about where you end up after you die?
