cuisinière

sofa - divan

A cooker - Une cuisinière (but most of the time, cookers are not "cookers" in France, they are separate ovens (un four) and hobs (des feux or des plaques).

A sofa - Un canapé ('divan' is only used for a psychiatrist's couch. Unless that's the context you need...)

By the way, cuisinier (m), chef, cuistot etc are NOT translations of cooker, which is like, an electrical appliance, but a chef, which is like that guy on TV what swears a lot, Jamie Olivers school dinners etc.
