go with him but don't tell him no because he will go anyway. he obviously needs some closure with her so he needs your support mostly not your nagging

It depends on there past relationship and how much trust you have with him. Does she respect you? What you could do is have her come see him instead of him going out there. That would probably be the best idea. Does he still love her? These are some things you must consider. If you do decide to let him go then have a big talk with him about how you feel about it. Give him a little space I mean he did tell you he was going. He could of just hidden it. Best wishes in the right decision.

If she is a nice person or a friend of yours that you would go out with, Go ahead and go with him. But, if it is an ex-girlfriend that is a ***** or something. Tell him to move on, tell him why do you need her when you have me? Also, stress to him that if he wants to keep his past closer than the person he loves(you), say that maybe you aren't meant for eachother. Say this last part only if you want to scare him a little and keep him closer and feeling sorry.

first of all, why does he want to see his ex gf?? Is it for closure?

Its really up to you to decided whether to go with him or just dont tell him no. My suggestion is that if you dont have anything to do, just go with him and you could enjoy the sites around Maine.

Whats the purpose? if its over its over sounds kinda fishy to me..Once a relationship is over there is no need to have a lsat visit unless there is an alteriour motive or to see if his feelings are actually gone for her....My advice is tell him you dont feel confortable with him seeing her again and that you dont see a purpose in it if he gets upset then there is something to his visit but I hope you dont end up hurt in the end Good Luck

WHATS THE PURPOSE OF EITHER ONE OF YOU GOING TO SEE HER. SHE IS HIS EX FOR A REASON. SINCE YOU ARE QUESTIONING OR EVEN CONSIDERING IN GOING YOU MIGHT AS WELL GO AND SEE WHAT IS GOING ON THERE BETWEEN THE TWO

DERRRRRRR???!!!!! He will end up NOT letting you go! He wants to see her because he thinks he may still want her, and he wants to see if he does or not. Whether you go or not won't make a difference. Just the fact that he WANTS to see her again should tell you that he does NOT love you ENOUGH. He may love you, but NOT ENOUGH. Plain and simple, so face it!!!!!!!!!!!

Put your boyfreind in your shoes: Tell him you want to go see an ex-boyfreind alone (one last time). Watch his body movement (especially his eyes) as he answers and and you'll have your answer....
